On May 16, UIS is set to hold its 44th commencement ceremony with guest speaker Thom Serafin. According to Derek Schnapp, Director of public relations, the chancellor picks a speaker each year for the ceremony. This year, she has chosen UIS alum Thom Serafin, the founder and CEO of Serafin and Associates. UIS welcomes back Thom Serafin.
